We already have to our credit, a list of very well received films. They have garnered critical acclaim and commercial success worldwide. Considering their caliber, not only does it ensure an influx of revenue for the company, but also helps pave the future for some stimulating and innovative filmmaking.
The Indian Film Industry, as you know, is the largest producer of movies in the world. However, few filmmakers perform consistently; fewer still have managed to create an organization that has rapidly become such an integral part of the entertainment business. Mr. Vipul A. Shah and Block Buster Movie Entertainers® have merited this unique distinction.
In 2005, Mr. Vipul A. Shah re-collaborated with the Indian Film Industry’s biggest personality, Mr. Amitabh Bachchan (previously having worked together on their smash hit thriller, “Aankhen”), to make and release, “Waqt – the race against time”. This was followed up with, “Namastey London” in 2007, each successive venture being that much more popular with the audiences.
Not taking time to rest on its laurels, BBME is looking ahead...
On its schedule: a mid 2008 release, “Singh is Kinng”, helmed by Mr. Anees Bazmee, who’s directorial credits include, “Welcome”, “No Entry”, and “Pyaar Toh Hona Hi Tha”.
Again BBME has ensured that this project boasts of an eclectic ensemble cast, including Katrina Kaif, Jaaved Jafferi, Kirron Kher, and veteran Om Puri. These talented actors are being spearheaded by one of the biggest stars today, Akshay Kumar, also making it BBME’s third project with him. This longstanding relationship with Mr. Akshay Kumar has been very fortuitous, having an excellent showing at the box office every time.
As has been our trademark work ethic, everyone at BBME believes in working with the best.
The production of “Singh is Kinng”, has taken it a notch higher by bring onboard a team of internationally renowned technicians including, Danny Baldwin (Action Choreography), Margrette Stevenson (Make-up), Steve Burnside (Production Designer), and David Redman (Line Producer).
As for the Director of Photography, we had the good fortune to work with Mr. Ben Nott, an extremely accomplished man in the field of cinematography, and winner of the American Society of Cinematographers (ASC) award for excellence in the field, which is generally regarded as the next best thing to winning an Oscar in Cinematography.
The standard that BBME is setting is not just for India, but for the world. We intend to push the envelope tirelessly, and timelessly in the coming decades, and in so doing, provide the world with the highest quality of entertainment.
Even with these achievements, there’s no slowing down BBME, we are already finalizing plans that include projects such as, “London Dreams”, starring Indian star, Salman Khan, and “Action Replay”, with Akshay Kumar, both are slated to be directed by Mr. Vipul A. Shah himself.
